Now we get to make the case. Open a new image 400x300, transparent background.
Add a new layer and name it 'Windows'. Make your foreground color #4C4C4C, and
make sure that it is in the first style box. Use the shapes tool with the following settings:
Rectangle, antialias checked, vector unchecked, line width at 5.
Draw a rectangle from 50,50 to 370,190. Add a new layer.
Using the shapes tool>elipse, same settings as the rectangle,
draw an elipse so that it resembles
the pic below.
Copy and paste the elipse as a new selection and line it up with the other end of the rectangle.
Go to windows layer and use magic wand to select anywhere outside the rectangle.
Hold down your control
Key and using your rectangle selection tool,
select around the round ends. See below.
Make the layer with the elipses on it active. Hit your delete key. Deselect.
Make the windows layer active and using your magic wand click inside the rectangle.
Go to Selections>Modify>Expand and expand the selection by 1.
Make the elipses layer active
and hit delete.
Hide the elipses layer and make your windows layer active.
Using your rectangle selections tool, hold down the shift key and select both ends of the rectangle.
Hit the delete key and deselect. Hide layer 1 and merge visible the other 2 layers.
Make a new image 130x140 and fill it with the dark grey.
Copy and paste it as a new layer on your main image,
move it to as close to the middle as possible.
Hide layer 1 and merge the other layers, renaming the layer 'Windows'.
Go to Selections>Select all then, with your magic wand, left-click the image.
Expand the selection by 1 and fill with the dark grey. Keep selected.
Using the rounded rectangle selection tool, hold down the control key and select the middle
of the middle. Try and keep the lines even with the top and bottom lines and the sides about
10 pixels on each side. See the image below. Looks like a bandage, doesn't it?
Apply and inner bevel using the Groove preset, but change the width to 2 and the depth to 3.
Deselect and save as windows.psp and minimize.
